Universal Borrowing

VIVA is pleased to announce its latest initiative, the Universal Borrowing pilot program. This program allows all current PVCC students, faculty and staff to borrow books from any participating VIVA institution. All you have to do to take advantage of this great opportunity is go to the college's or university's library and show proof of current status. You are, however, subject to the circulating policies of the lending library. For a list of participating institutions and their policies, go here . VIVA envisions the greatest usefulness for distance students, but anyone is free to use this service. If you have any questions, please just let us know. Enjoy!

Fall Break

The library will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during fall break, October 7-8. During that time we will be converting our desktop computers to Windows 7 and updating to Office 2013. Because of this, none of these computers will be available. We will provide laptops (with printing capabilities), and of course reference assistance. However, if you would prefer to use a desktop, just go to the Open Computer Lab.  Hopefully this will be as painless as possible, but please bear with us!
