The Big READ

The Big READ provides a place for communities to come together to read and discuss a single book. This year the book is The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett. The National Endowment for the Arts, the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and Arts Midwest sponsor this program throughout the United States.

Jefferson Madison Regional Library is coordinating and hosting a number of the events in this area for March and April. The Jessup Library has a list. Please stop by soon and pick up a copy of the schedule.

On April 20th, Justin Wert and Ben Sloan, two PVCC English professors will host a discussion of The Maltese Falcon in the North Mall Meeting Room here at PVCC. Please join us in the lively discussion of another great book and author!
