#fridayreads: National Ice Cream Sandwich Day

Somewhere in the world it's winter (please don't spoil it for us by telling us where), but in Virginia we are in the home stretch of summer. August 2 is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day but don't feel conflicted about eating an ice cream sandwich on any other day of the year. Jessup Library has books with ice cream and other dairy products recipes. For those of you who prefer more savory dairy products, we also have books devoted to cheese. National Cheese Day was in June and the cheddar is feeling quite sharp about not getting its own library display.  And don't get us started on how curdled the milk is after being left out of the celebration. It's very difficult to sandwich all of the dairy products into one blog post, but we're making a quiescently frozen effort.
