#fridayreads: Festival of Sleep Day

January 3: the day we've all been anticipating since toddler naps were a thing of the past... it's Festival of Sleep Day. Recovering from the holidays can be exhausting. If you need some bedtime reading Jessup Library can offer you books that might keep you awake or send you straight into the land of nod. Arianna Huffington wants to transform your life, one night at a time, and you can read about it in The Sleep Revolution. If you would like to get in a quick read before a power nap you might be interested in two very short introduction books: Sleep, and Dreaming. The Promise of Sleep sounds very appealing although promises are made to be broken and cliches are taking over this blog post. Finally, Michael McGirr would like to introduce you to Snooze: the lost art of sleep.  Who knew that there was an art to sleep? Will PVCC offer a degree in the art and science of sleep? Don't stay up past your bedtime waiting to find out. Sweet dreams!
