He's back and this time he's brought his dog. That's right, Jean-Luc Picard is returning to the small screen in Picard. At Jessup Library we like to look to the future and you can too. In the case of Star Trek, the past is the future and you may read about it in a two-volume set: The fifty-year mission : the complete, uncensored, unauthorized oral history of Star trek : the first 25 years. Neil DeGrasse Tyson writes about facing the ultimate frontier in Space Chronicles. And the book that Patrick Stewart is holding in the photo below, Trekonomics, explains the economics of Star Trek. Perhaps the captain's log book can explain the levitating books but we're willing to suspend our belief if necessary. Engage!
