I Have a Dream
"I Have a Dream": these four words are familiar and full of hope. August 28, 1963 is the date that the famous speech with this title was given in public by its author, Martin Luther King, Jr. In his speech Dr. King expressed a desire for equality and justice for all people. At Jessup Library we recognize the immense contributions that Dr. King gave to this country. If you are interested in reading further about the man, the speech, his writings, and his dream, we have books that might interest you. The books shown in the photo above are The Radical King, A Testament of Hope, The Word of the Lord is Upon Me, The Autobiography of Martin Luther King, Jr., and The Preacher King.
