Summer Celebrations! - National Book Lover's Day

Sunday, August 9th

NATIONAL BOOK LOVER'S DAY

The day has finally arrived! It is every librarian and bibliophile's favorite holiday, National Book Lover's Day! As you can see, even our library mascot, Nibbles, loves to celebrate! Today, we honor the written word and all of the amazing literature the world has to offer. Regardless of whether you are more into fiction or nonfiction, today is the the perfect day to find a book you'll love and get reading!

Ways to Celebrate:

1. Find your favorite comfy spot, and curl up with a good book!

2. Post about your favorite books of all time on social media and use the hashtag, #NationalBookLoversDay.

3. Explore the Jessup Library's online catalog for ebooks as well as our newly reopened physical collection! See something you like? Put a hold request on the book, and either pick it up in person or have us ship it to you!
