There comes a time in every library's life when all of the single ladies -- well, actually all of the ladies and gentlemen and cats and dogs and that one hedgehog -- want to celebrate Beyoncé's birthday. That day is today! Jessup Library has physical and electronic books about Queen Bey, although you may have to bring your own party hats.

Print (physical books) include Beyoncé, Women Who Rock, a different book called Beyoncé, Love for Sale: Pop Music in America, and Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! : the story of pop music from Bill Haley to Beyoncé.

Can't make it into the library to pick up a physical book? We have electronic books you can read from the comfort of your own stage.  Start with The Lemonade Reader and end with Beyoncé in Formation: Remixing Black Feminism.

At this point in 2020, a birthday celebration is something we all need.
