Walt Disney Studios was founded on October 16, 1923. The first animated film involved a poisoned apple, a wicked stepmother, seven dwarfs, and a free trip to a galaxy far, far away. Hold on, we're getting ahead of ourselves here -- it wasn't until decades later that Disney Studios acquired Lucasfilm and a little-known franchise called Star Wars. 

But now back to Disney... put on your mouse ears and listen up! We have some treats for you that don't include poisoned fruit or wee little men. Disney's Land is about the amusement park associated with the film studio.
