Watch videos from new streaming databases!

Do you like to watch movies?  (I mean, who doesn't, right?)  Thanks to the Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA), our library now has access to three new streaming video databases.  Access a wide variety of feature films, documentaries, indie flicks, and educational videos.  

  • Academic Video Online - Find over 70,000 titles spanning the widest range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music, and more.  You'll see videos from publishers like PBS, Film Platform, BBC, CNN, Wall Street Journal, Sony Pictures Classics, CBS, A&E, and more.

  • Docuseek - Stream many independent, social-issue, and environmental films from publishers like Bullfrog Films, Icarus Films, MediaStorm, etc.

  • Sage Video - Find educational videos in the areas of counseling, psychotherapy, criminal justice, and nursing.  
In addition to these new databases, we also have access to several other video databases like Films on Demand and Kanopy.  See the full list on our Streaming Videos page.  All you need to do when off-campus is click the link, and login using your MyPVCC username and password.
