Mystery Month🔎
"I don't know. It's a mystery."
Whether fiction or nonfiction, books about mysteries are compelling reads. From whondunit mysteries to what happened to the Roanoke Colony mysteries, it is possible to get lost in the pages of a good puzzle. The Queen of Mystery Agatha Christie was right when she wrote that "very few of us are what we seem," which is what made her stories so enjoyable--we all have secrets.
Read Stieg Larsson's first Lisbeth Salander novel The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and delve into the dark underbelly of Sweden. Pick up the classics, such as Sherlock Holmes or P.D. James's A Taste For Death (an Adam Dalgliesh mystery). Or, if you prefer the more fast-paced read, pick up Lee Child's Reacher series books, or Charlaine Harris's Aurora Teagarden murder mysteries.
Happy mystery reading!
