There are times when we do not know where to start--college can be one of those experiences. Starting in a new environment with new people and new subjects can be daunting, so we are sharing some of our books to help smooth the way. From books on how to write essays to books on how to start college as an adult, we have a vast array of books to get your college experience on track.
If you need help with punctuation, Actually, the Comma Goes Here is a little book with a lot of information to assist! Trying to understand how a poem works? Try poet Mary Oliver's book A Poetry Handbook to break down how meter and rhyme, from iambs to free verse.
If instead you are looking for something more entertaining than educational, the book Reading Lolita in Tehran follows the story of brave young women in Iran who read the illicit books of Jane Austen and Vladimir Nabokov.
